Been A Long Time

San Diego

So my 365 photo challenge didn't go so well.. So just a blog every now and then will do..
But for now lets play catch up:
1. Got job promotion and they transferred me to Dalton. Love, Love my new job!!!
2. We are moving back to Chattanooga in 2 weeks
3.My dad got diagnosed with cancer, but is doing well. (Please remember him in your prayers)

Does not seem like a lot, but it is to all have happend in 3 months..Thankfully Chad works for his dad and his sweet dad is letting him come work in Chattanooga instead of Atlanta so that we can both move home.

But right now we are watching the National Championship game, and as much as I love my best-friend Jordan (huge Auburn and Cam fan) and Auburn adopted me in college I cannot pull for them! Go DUCKS!!!

I am not sure when it started snowing in Georgia, but it snowed on Christmas which was amazing and last night we got about 8inches of snow. Which has been fabulous, plus 2 days off of work! My friend Christina Ratterman had this to say about our little white surprise
Snow is not a burden but rather a blessing that God has given us to remind us to slow down, enjoy life and never forget what it feels like to be a kid..
I finally got Chad out of this house today to play in the snow, our "playing" consisted of us walking around and watching Bocephus jump around in it. I think tomorrow we may convince the kids in the subdivision to let us sled with them.
Little Bobo wanted NOTHING to do with the snow..

So Chad made him..

Bobo came around and eventually loved the snow
Also since the last time I blogged, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in- law, Chad and myself went to    San Diego to visit Chads sister. It was one of the best trips I've been on. The weather there is to die for, If I could move the whole family there I would!

Spring Cleaning??

Spring cleaning gone wrong..
I could probably even enter one of those clean your house shows and actually get on it with a garage like this.. So Chad and Chad totally cleaned our garage, organized, bought shelf's etc. etc. during spring. I could even park in the garage, it was great.. Then Service Max started taking over, then REALLY started taking over and it all went down hill from there.. So down hill that you cant even really walk in our garage.. Our neighbor actually thought we were making\growing "stuff" with all the chemicals.. But now our new fall cleaning will be to re-clean out the garage, but for now we live with it like this:
So maybe one day kinda soon I can post pictures of our clean garage...

Probably better that I'm Wordless on Wednesday

Reasons I'm Wordless today:
Laundry makes me so unhappy. I enjoy cleaning more than laundry!!! Plus this is not even half of it, I have already put some up and there still some upstairs.. Ugh.. Wordless...!

Chad has started buying coffee in the mornings since he started working from home.. So I bought him a coffee maker to save him some money.. Actually I spend like an hour at Bed Bath and Beyond trying to find just the right one.  And if you look very closely at the top where the coffee goes you can see that different parts are still in the bag and no one has ever used it!Ugh.. Wordless ...!

Both Lanolin and Bocephus enjoy going outside to lay on the deck.. No big deal right.. Well.. While they are out there they only like to be out there if the door is open so they can come in and out as they please. If we close the door they sit in the front of it and look at you or make their animals noises! So we have to leave the door open, not only does it let out cool bought air but it lets in bugs.. Ugh.. Wordless ..!

Not as easy as I thought

Last year I was the assistant swim coach at Centennial High School, and  LOVED it. We had the best head-coach ever Chad and I even became good friends with him and his wife. This year he got a better opportunity at another school and took it :(. So without knowing what I was getting myself into I agreeded to be the head coach. I had no idea how difficult it really was going to be... Maybe because I have no idea what I am doing, guess last year I got away with a lot.. But now on a Tuesday night at 9:20P.M. I'm piled up in my living room sorting through swim stuff racking my brain on what to do, who to swim, emailing coaches,
Etc. Etc.

Andy we miss you come back.. Worse picture ever but at least we have a first place trophy in our hands..

Really I just want to be back here on vacation in Aruba sleeping under the trees after a long day of doing nothing but swimming, laying out and having a few drinks.. ahhh...!!!
Or here in St. Lucia with the friends that we made!

The many words of 'R'

Today I got home late after having several things to do after work and didn't get a good picture of the day. So I love having R things around the house, this one being one of my favorites. But while thinking about what to say about it I thought about the many words that start with R..
Reading: I love reading.. Dunno when I started because in high school, college I hated it... Now I'm always looking for new books.. Some of favorite new books are.. Water for Elephants (highly recommend this, The Help, The Lucky One and Heart of the Matter!
Right-handed: Both me Chad, Lanolin and Bocephus are all right-handed!
Rain: As a kid I hated when it rained, now I love it.. I love sitting in living room watching it rain!
Running: Hahah!
Rain-Coat: Along with rain, I LOVE my green north face rain-coat.. I wear it when its not raining!
Roll Tide:Cant forget my 2010 championship team- THE University of Alabama!
Ready: ..= Never on time!
Recycling: Thankfully is it so easy for us to recycle where we live so we do!
Responsible: Something I am not, I forget and misplace everything (anyone need a babysitter? ha)!
Restaurant: Right now my favorite is Carrabba's!
Rachel: Of my best-friends who introduced me to Chad (well kinda she didn't mean to but she did)!
Reflux: Dunno when I got it but I do.. and hate it!
Realty: Hit hard when I moved out from my parents, got a real job, and real BILLS!
Rude: Rude people annoy me!
Remember the Titans: My favorite movie!
Reed House:One of my favorite places to stay.. The beds are so comfy!

Last but not least

Typical Sunday at the Robinson's

Consists of...
BASEBALL

Chad plays baseball for the Atlanta Men's Amateur Baseball League, so on Sunday's during the summer we hit the fields for some baseball. Not that I dont love watching Chad play baseball in the 100 degree weather, but thankfully Chad's friend Chad plays and just happens that his wife Val has become one of my best good friends and can keep me company (or I keep her, shes more of a regular than I am).

Above Chad is at his usual second base... Its kinda hard to take pictures through the fence but when hes hitting its much easier.

But after a long hard day of baseball we have recently loved ending our days at the lake.

Kinda missed the sun-set after we got the boat back and covered it up, but its enough to get me through the week until we can go out again.
Well until tomorrow....
